Adidas Consortium heads to the great outdoors, dipping into the specialty Terrex range for their latest release. Adidas are calling this melding of technology, comfort, and outdoors functionality ‘free hiking.’ The nascent concept is launched with the Terrex Free Hiker, a versatile hiking sneaker boot intended to serve the wearer’s needs across multiple environments, from urban starting point to nature escape.

A classic, hiking boot silhouette is rendered in a water repellent Primeknit upper atop Boost cushioning. The lightweight, modern performance elements are bolstered by rugged, outdoors minded additions. A Continental rubber, tread outsole, abrasion resistant welded reinforcements, a rubberized toe guard, molded plastic heel counter, and rope lacing.
